Hey @ddgurto that's a great update! The scene already reads much better, good job on that! In the first image it's still a bit unclear to me which one the focal point should be. is it the ornamental wall or is it the pillar. Currently the sun is shining on both of them separately. I'd try to have a clear indication where…
Finished texture, I brightened up the texture and made it more stylized with crisper lines. Tell me what you think. I personally really like the look of it, but I am not sure if the texture is too plain.
Good luck trying to get the water to reflect in UT3 :\ Is their ANY way that the water can accept lighting as well? Couldn't for the life of me, get that to work along with surface reflection that isn't faked with a cube map.
No, that's exactly the thing you shouldn't keep in mind, because for this you'd have to assume that there is some default "normal" state and everything else is just a modification of that default. That's not true in real life, and it doesn't seem healthy to hold that thought in public minds through art. If you just…
lol I didn't expect this to come back to life! :D I don't know when I'm I going to be able to work on this though. Right now I'm working on something else that I'll have to wrap up and then I'll have to support my jQuadCloth. If I find some time to work on it, I'll definitely keep you guys updated. Maybe in spring 2019 or…
Hi everyone, Today I released the Alpha version of a tool I’ve been developing called HardCuts. HardCuts focuses on fast hard-surface concept modeling using voxel booleans and parametric shapes. The idea behind the tool is to make workflows like these very fast: • blockout shapes • boolean cutters • base mesh creation •…
Hello!, I'm working on a project for Uni to create the Interior of a Room, which will end up in Unreal.I am replicating the town of Bellhart from Hollow Knight Silksong, which is a 2D / 2.5D game. I'm going to adapt it's stylised illustrated elements into semi-stylised real-time Assets. I'm currently modelling some of the…
Bottom line: in this day and age we don't need to upgrade to "insane specs' (tm) to stay on top of things in 3D. I have to know: I once bought a noise-proofed rack from a specialized vendor for a workstation or two I owned. These machines were insufferable to listen to. Cost me high three digits or perhaps early four -…
Hope it helps. As I suggested find your self a good side view then make a line up like above one and you are good to go You already have most volumes in place just not the correct place for her
