First was a great game, but McGee hasn't done anything sense that gives me confidence in his ability to replicate its success. Just like with Oddworld, will remain cautiously optimistic until more is shown.

UPDATE: This issue has been solved and had nothing to do with textures or meshes, in this case the problem was caused by a file called sharedbones.qci, after replacing it with another version randomly found, the problem was fixed. more info in this reply: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1764090&postcount=30…

The kitchen portholes look rather bland at the moment; I think they'd look better as star filled windows, with an occasional passing starship. @Revel: I've tried to replicate the issue when dragging a max file into 3dsmax. It seems to work just fine for me...open, merge and xref cause no problems. Quite strange...
