Hey poly. I am about to purchase a new laptop for development. I have been doing all my work on an alienware x51 and my wife wants me to get another alienware for my laptop. The question is, is it really worth it? What recommendations do you have when it comes to udk? -

Max array tool
In max 2009 is it possible to move around the scene with the array dialogue box open, it seems to freeze the viewport when you open the dialogue box which is tad irritating, dunno if this has been changed in max 2010. -

I just use particle hair, convert ti to cards with hair tool addon, then sculpt the cards further. works ok, but never quite perfect Blenders new hair oprions are pretty good too ie geometry nodes, but I am not keen to switch over completely yet hair tools addon has its own shader with a nice anisotropic look -
