I think the problem with digital processes is they are changing very quickly. I'd imagine for many what they have set down in a prospectus for a 2012 entry student for the 4th year masters will be out of date and probably wrong by the time they hit the 4th year! The problem with these sculpting techniques is that they are just that - digital sculpting workflows. In Zbrush and Mudbox shapes tend to melt and sit next to each other instead of wedging and overlapping. I'd say its unlikely that its the connector. If it were the connector, you might get flipping, or odd color. Might be the DAC.(Digital-> analog converter). Are you running DVI to the monitors or VGA?
