hello everyone, this is my first thread and i hope it's a right place to post.my problem is with layers in z brush. whenever i quit hd geometry my layers will be gone. even if i go back to hd geo again (with highest subdiv level)they don't comeback. thanks
Might want to lower your brush's z intensity. Instead of 1 strong stroke (which usually overkills), do multiple stroke of weaker volume. Slowly building up the forms. Don't just drop a whole can of clay on it :P
to me it hints at some sort of clothsim functionality and the aforementioned render effect to be featured in the next version of Z. at least it wouldn't make much sense for them to create promotional material using apps from the competition.

Did this in 20 minutes just to try out and begin learning z brush, the interface is a little weird but i figured it out in a few minutes, decent result for my first try, ill have to get better to integrate this into normal mapped enrionments stuff

He's just showing what his high-poly top sub-d looks like, compared to the projected version of the z-remesher mesh next to it (on the far right), so you can see that there are no projection errors happening with his method (or very few).
Only got round to playing with it last night I am so impressed by live booleans having a little trouble with Go-z to modo but all the features are pretty much blowing my mind about now, and the gizmo is truly a gift from the gods.
