Hey Everyone, I recently posted up some kitbash libraries of some hard surface assets. Check them out! They are available here: https://gumroad.com/mvhaitsma (Moderator Edit) Showcase image uploaded.
Before I started 3D-moddeling, I drew. A lot. I've never really got into digital painting, so I feel like it's about time. I'll use this thread to showcase my progress! C&C is very welcomed!
Moving this from Career and Education to 3D Art Showcase and Critiques, the right place to seek feedback. If you have specific questions about how to get work, then feel free to make another topic there.
Thank you! :D Did a little mailbox for today. Okay so I got a trial of Marmoset Toolbag and it's suuper nice to render with, so in the future, I think I'll do showcases and wireframes in that!
Depending on what you are showcasing try to avoid using anything that you didn't create (such as the day 1 vegetation you get with UDK). Also, try to include model statistics such as polycounts and texture sizes.
Chinese New Year has settled down, had a lot of food fortune in my tummy, and ready to showcase my latest submission today. Demure Style of the Rider NEW Hairstyle for Luna with t1mu
^agree with skodone about the dark renders and workflow. Perhaps you could post a grey scale version of the character for better feedback. Otherwise, I'd try adding more lighting that showcases the character better.
Looks really great, I know you've spent all that time making a game ready character which would be awesome for portfolio and such but I really think the Highpoly would be better to showcase for a competition.
It's a work thing, so I can't post those assets, but I'll see if I can put something similar together when I get home that showcases the problem. And thanks for the suggestion also ! :)
