Kat - thanks for the feedback. I am going to try it at 1024 x 1024 and at 512 x 512. I will look into redoing the hydraulics. Something more like a quad atv style. Even if they don't lose definition in the normal map I now think they just look to weak. -

Heres the bake, I didn't clean anything up yet. Just a bit over 10,000 tris. The UVs are split into two maps, right now 4096 x 4096 and 4096 x 2048. Please tell me what you think. -

sorry man, misread your post. I have no idea if any 5 yr old handsets are running android 2.x/3.x Its up to the manufacturer to release updates for their handsets, I'd say its perfectly possible but unlikely. -

so how do you go about figuring the sizes of modular pieces? Do you have any preset ideas like a wall should be x units tall by x units high and corner pieces should be a certain size, etc... ? -

Always disappointed in something. Focus on the small, manageable successes: Today I made an 'x'. This week those things came together to make a 'y'. This month I've finished 'z' because 'x' and 'y' worked. When you focus on smaller, attainable goals. The mountains move them-selves. -

I came across a few problems today. 1) When generating a normal map from a height map the Dimensions of the image switched places. For example 24 cm x 36 cm became 36 cm x 24 cm when I converted the height map to a normal. -

well, be careful loading in old user data. i used to apply my customized zbrush layout simply by switching out the zstartup folder. this has worked for years in 2.x, 3.x an onwards. doing that in 4R3 breaks the activation (!). yet another Zfuckup, they keep adding up.
