No, it isn't. If you're fine doing something illegal, go for it, but if you NDA says not to show it it's that simple. Why not just make other art? if you're capable of producing work of X quality that belongs to company A, why not make art of X quality that belongs to you to show off?
I don't think you understand what he's getting at. There are a finite amount of resources available to company x and company y. company x produces a superior, more efficient product. Which company should get more resources? How should it be decided? How will they be provided?
reset X-forms on the low-poly model and rebake, if the transforms are off it can screw up your normals/bake. export your projection cage in the modifier first so you don't have to set up the cage again before you reset X-forms.
@e-freak: Sure! I first used windows GDI+ to rotate the image. Then, for every pixel:translate components -127.5 newX = x * Cos(angle) - y * Sin(angle); newY = x * Sin(angle) + y * Cos(angle); normalize to length 127.5 translate components +127.5
I am calling this one done, went a bit rough and fast on the texturing. A mock-up concept I did when I started with it. Ended up with 4,088 tri's 3 x 2k textures and 2 x 512 textures.

I'd like to assign a hotkey to planarize a selection by hitting ctrl+shift+x, y, and z. However, the only function I can find is "make planar" which isn't what I want. Is there a way to assign a hotkey to just the make planar X function? Thanks.

Hey @shockobonss! The reason why you don't have this feature yet, is that I haven't released the update yet x). I was stuck fixing something minor and life got in the way, but I finally have some vacation and therefore time to wrap this up. So I promise you will get your hands on this feature very soon!
Kat - thanks for the feedback. I am going to try it at 1024 x 1024 and at 512 x 512. I will look into redoing the hydraulics. Something more like a quad atv style. Even if they don't lose definition in the normal map I now think they just look to weak.
