Thank you Ash means alot, primary aim is to have only 1 texture set at 4k resolution with 1024px/m distribution, then finally showcased in UE4 so I'm eagerly looking forward to the challenge putting this 8yr odyssey too bed once and for all.
Hello everyone, I am a little stuck with string and variables. I understand how to create a string and how to pass it for the most basic use. However I am now trying to do the same thing in a more complicated scenario (for my basic knowledge) and I haven't been able to figure it out. I would love your help guys. Basically…
Alright, i saw these or a similar one on a tech channel they spoke of how accurate and stuff it is, i am not a camera guy or anything i just know they are insanely expensive. Hope it turns out the same as irl if that is the goal, near project to watch, will be checking in from time to time just to see the progress but…
@Noren Thanks for the confirmation - If I understand you correctly - should it look something like this?: On another note, i am also seeing something, that I did not intend for and I have been unsuccessful in figuring it out. The 'Motion Paths' show, that the IK Chain (Green), and Bone (White) Paths do not follow exactly…
Very small update! I changed up the towers quite a bit because the first one didn't feel right to me. I'm really liking this one though. I'm planning to add a bunch of detail to the towers this week since I feel I got a little behind. I also have a couple props cooking up but they're for additional details to the scene…
* world projected textures with subtle grunge can help break up repetition and can help "tie" props and environment together by blending hue and value (has to be very subtle) * haven't done it myself, but I believe you could use a second UV channel for things like an edge or cavity mask, and break this up with a grunge…
I THINK I saw another article that talked about this particular thing from Arc System, but it was in Japanese and the Google translate was spewing gibberish. I'll try to find it once I get a minute Troy. Unless I imagined it and my memory is a lie, in which case I'll be back with nothing.
The reason for the slanted turret rear was because (and i didn't realize this until recently) - the reference diagrams I was initially working from were from CANCLED prototypes of the Tiger I: I'm glad to see people object to the angle because now I'm forced to fix it ;) even though it will be a pain in the butt to do.…
It's not necessarily faster, but I am trying to force myself to do a gray scale version of the painting first to try and get the values right, it is easier for me to do it this way because I'm not thinking of color for a while :) , once you get used to this you can get them done quicker. hope it helped.
Couldnt of summed it better, its a real shame that we have organisations throwing stuff at the goverment and there taking no note. I think there just waiting till things get quieter so they can call it job done, which ofc it will do once most of the studios have gone under/moved overseas ;(
