It's likely because you're baking it as an image with 8-bits per channel instead of 16 or 32-bits. Try baking it as a TIFF file instead of png/bmp/jpg etc and see if that helps.
How many bits per channel is your normal image? 8? 16? TGA or TIFF? The artifacts you see are because there is not enough information to smoothly display the almost flat areas perfectly.
Depends on your definition of 'wondrous' I suppose - 6' 8" drag queens that look like Dennis Rodman could inspire wonder in some visitors to our fine city, I guess....
Oh wow, that looks like a bug. It happens when you paste into RGB channels as well. Go to Edit->Color Settings and turn off "Use Dither 8-bit/channel images"
when Im actually in a working groove, I really dont notice any music playing at all. I'll go through 7 or 8 tracks without noticing that the song ever changed.
What format did you use when importing the greyscale texture? Try greyscale, it basically allows you to import 8 bit (think of one channel from RGB) textures uncompressed.
Hey!! We are free to play for a little bit! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arc-squadron/id512808632?mt=8 Also, Lamont..still working on releasing in Japan..so hopefully soon.
It loaded slow, and then brought Chrome to a halt. My compy's kind of dated (2.5ghz quad, 8 gig ram, shit video card) but it plays modern games easily and shouldn't be chugging on a website...
Here is my Sunday update...only got about 8 hours in for the changes, but I think its wrangled enough so that I can start with the low poly bakes next week.
