more or less all GPU renderer... cause a lot of them are optix based like redshift...or the new QMC stuff in renderman and vray... aslo some simulation stuff... sure there are openCL solutions but AMD is in this area behind... if yfou dont render or silumate... its no problem at all..
When was real-time ray tracing done in Movie production, since this is the first time it's ever being done to decent quality? Do you mean real-time feedback using a Ray Tracer in Movie Production aka Redshift or Prorender? Similar words, whole different meaning.
You mean with Octane or Redshift ? I actually did tried to learn it 10 years ago . Simple things took 100x time vs even 3d max. Blender nodes now looks so much more logically intuitive for me and what's a big plus totally optional. But I haven't even tried Houdini since.
