Thought I would make a post with some 'finished' work of mine. I'm new to Polycount and have never had any real feedback on any of these. It would be cool if you have any advice that would help push my work further and things I should look out for in future work of mine. I would super appreciate it! I'm really enjoying…
Hello everyone, I decided to create a fan art of DotA2 Character - Windranger . Planning to push her up to the cinematic quality. So far I focused on the correct anatomy, next I am planning to retopo the body and push the body detail further. Boobs like weird, as I imagine them already in clothing ;) There is a lot of…
I like your stylized stuff :) Keep pushing your art, it's looking cool. I would stay away from adding any more 2D art unless its specifically orthos/concept. If you cut these marked things out of your portfolio, I think you can get hired. Definitely keep pushing yourself though. Best of luck!
Looking awesome, I can totally see him splitting mountains! I feel like he is still missing that strong beard, I think if done right it can even push his jaw into a more angular aggressive shape! Here is a ref, but since its league you can push it into any shape you want!
Tried to push it a little more, unfortunately this "pushing" is the hardest part for me. :( I also reduced the texture size to 512x512 as this is (afaik) the texturesize for WoW props. I also textured the stone-table which standing next to the wodden one in the concept. The idea here was to create some heavy which can be…
Oh god. The first time I had to switch cases on my PC, I think my reset button ended up as the power button, the power button I was afraid to push, and all the LEDs didn't work. You had to push these tiny little connections into a stack of 8 sets of pins in varying directions with no markings. :poly127:
Though to be honest you can get about 4 pretty decent 120mm case fans for about $45 or less, not sure if you would want that many, but even replacing the non stock fans could be really beneficial either for getting more air pushed through your case or for the same amount of air pushed much quieter.
The hypothetical string will also be 10 times as long! On a serious note though, frames can be rendered as quick as they can be written on the framebuffer as it always has been. Gamedevelopers will also find reasons for rendering as much as they can as close as they can get to 30 fps, this is a constant in the push for…
Welch - Thanks! I can't truely say Skyward Sword was the first I played since OoT. I did love Skyward Sword though! Bacn - Yeah I can see that. I will try to push him to a more masculine look. I don't wanna push it too far though. Small update just some hands.
Nice scene and its a good recreation of the original. I would say add the snow and push the roughness detail. At the moment it looks like 1 type of flat metal with almost no albedo or roughness breakup. You could push the scene so much further and give it more character than the original with some real texturing. Keep…
