Cut out the fancy handle and used the polys to smooth out the curves. I stretched out the size of the blades repainted the lighter runes so they were larger. I am much happier with it now
Let's imagine we have a model all vertex painted in one color with different grade tones , Is it possible to shift the hue of the vertexes from for example a gray to a blue one in order to not have to repaint the whole model by scratch ?
Here's my second update with some repainted crack textures, tweaked entrance, and a little bit of camera shake. [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtvIRaZl4zE[/ame]
MRGB and I used color/fill object then repainted over with black rgb because it didn't take the desired darker base on wich I wanted to paint over using the cavity masking with a ligher color ...
no, thats not an option in this case. i absolutely need to have the same vertex order. i have an external program which relies on vertex order to paint "damages". and changing the vertex order means repainting it again.
A repaint attempt on Merm, you can watch my terrible texture painting workflow at high speed here [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJcFrmm9HHo[/ame]
Here's where the textures are at. They are rough. I just wanted to post my progress up. Prolly going to repaint some of them as I develop the scene more. All 256 textures. C & C always appreciated.
