Dunno why anyone would stress over CoD hate. It's as sure as the sunrise, just don't pay it any mind... I also found that far more jarring than C3's bow. This trailer ain't interesting me much. When animating the character through the scene instead of doing an in place walk cycle it helps to have IK on the feet so you can lock the feet in world space and keep it from slipping around as you move the root node/COG. Various rigs do this in different ways normally there is some kind of pivot placement you can also… -

As KDR said, it does seem that he's got way too many edges to be 3k. You mentioned that is was "based" on the Tauren in WoW. Do you have a concept for the race you're trying to create? I only ask because while the form may be similar, your model does not appear to be based on a cow. -

The upper part of the scar looks pretty good so far. I think it kind of falls apart where it gets wider and the edges get lighter and less well-defined. I guess it also depends a lot on what the purpose of the scar is, in story-telling terms. What is it meant to convey about the character's backstory? Are they a duelist… -
