Giving that hard surface environment a shot this challenge. I have a rough greybox/lighting pass on UE4. I'm currently moving it to my 3d program and getting a better rough layout.
This is my first new piece in a while. I've started with this very rough layout done in Photoshop to help me with the look and to better help once I start to greybox the scene.
Hypothetically speaking. Do you guys think you can develop a following for an indie game with polished concept art, and Greybox placeholder gameplay videos?
Some work for today :) I made the hand painted texture for the candles. Here is the texture and UVs Here is a shot for the greybox layout in UE4 More work tomorrow :)
Current Status, this is just a greybox model for proportions. Almost everything is mirrored, not the final version. Low poly banana for scale. As always all comments & critics are welcomed :)
So, I finally got a chance to do more work on this challenge and here are a few initial quick zbrush sculpts of the shell and tree. Still just greyboxing the environment. Will keep posting updates once they are more game-ready models.
Hey guys! I'm new in polycount and I would like to share my progress of 3D environment :) The topic of this project is Hong Kong Tenement, and here is my Greybox layout and reference photo:
