Recent render: New project and new post, this time I'm working on the (fake, never actually built or designed) German WWII tank "E-100 Krokodil". There seems to be two different designs with the same name but as you can see I'm working on the "turtle" variant. Current progress on the blockout: Finding good reference images…
It's more about cost and practicality. Sixaxis wasn't expensive, and Move wasn't either (heck, you can get the full Wonderbook setup for £30). Kinect was £130 and is now not much cheaper (£100). It's an expensive piece of hardware that a lot of people have no interest in, and therefore don't want to pay for.
[ QUOTE ] I am just curious about the whole "100 hours of gameplay" / sandbox game model. How many people here have finished GTA:SA? ESIV? Not to derail the thread but, like I said, just curious. Neither of these games has managed to hold my interest through to completion so I am wondering if it is the same for others. [/…
Not back to start the dialogue up, life got in the way, and I just got done making some adjustments to the site, etc.. and items were tweaked related to feedback from this forum. Just wanted to thank everyone for their input, it helped us look at from a different angle. It doesn't matter whether your input made me feel…

It's my first FPS-quality vehicle, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also had a few questions: 1. Is it better to created the low poly first, uvwrap it and then…

Something like a $100 would be great. As long as the instructor can view the scene on a weekly basis and give feed back. Kind of like Animation Mentor but with modeling instead of animating. $130 is what I paid per full symester college classes but I feel I've learned all I can from those.
I agree with odium, spent 120 or 130 hours in Oblivion, and STILL haven't done everything. Love that game. I'm excited to see this game. Their use of a brand new engine definitely has my attention, I am in the same pot as the rest of you. Gamebryo blows due to stability problems (and the animations are fairly meh too)
The browser version shouldn't matter much, should it? Since it's all thrown through Unity.
