Very cool! I like how chunky she is, and the colours are nice and vibrant.
Her head feels a bit small and distorted in the "presentation" shot, but it looks better in the others, so I'm not quite sure what to say there. Good work!
i love me some thick girls.
Love those proportions.
I like how her body reads as menacing and deadly, but her face is just serene and welcoming.
Kinda like Stevie Nicks.
i really love this model, great work. i love her proportions. i do love her face. i think there is room for improvement in the textures. they have a dodge/burn highlight and shadow appearance. the yellows/browns are falling flat, like they aren't reading and are easy to ignore. the colors are desaturated and makes the textures feel dry. the composition could be improved with adjusting some of the color.
Love the interpretation... alot. She looks much more how I would envision a sexy italian super-hero. Sexy without the standard "every super-heroine looks like this" proportions.
Mop: the head might look smaller in the presentation shot because she's looking straight at the camera and there are a lot of stuff covering up on the sides.
killingpeople: thx alot for the input. This time around I set the AO bake to linear burn witch might explain alot Didn't really play around with it that much because I liked the outcome, but I'll go over it again to see what can be done
kodde: Hey man, long time no see. Still doing the teaching and stuff?
Lampoly: I'll have a look at it thx for the images, much appreciated.
For some reason it really reminds me of the Prince of Persia style, especially the cloth which i think is cool, dunno if i'm the only 1 that see's this or that u were going for that
Overall, the proportions/silhouette are very pleasing and I really like the attitude in the poses. I don't know if it's just the rendering/position of lights but the normals and specularity are not very apparent. The surfaces are all reading as a single material, too. I hope you don't think I'm being too harsh. I like the model a lot and I don't think it would take a lot to make it really sing.

Agreed. The spec could use a little more variation or the lighting could use some more contrast to make the different materials really feel separate from one another. If you don't want to change the textures, toning down the key light and adding some cooler lights at glancing angles could really make the specular pop out.
Overall it's looking really good, though. I love the proportions.
Raider: I love the art in PoP and it's allways in teh back of my mind but it's not something I was going for intentionally
Xenobond: ya I know, that's the weak spot and I thought I could get away with it :poly136:
Nick and Swizzle: Thx alot for the feedback. I'll play around with the light setup and if that doesn't work out I'll try to get some more out of the spec.
I'm just soaking up the crits and comments and will make a final pass at this on thursday so keep 'em coming!

contradicting what others have said, i think both her face and lighting are fine.
excellent work!

great work!
face is very expressive somehow!
Like many of the other replies mentioned already, but the proportions work well. Nice to see some meat on them bones.
