Fun idea, but I can't help noticing your polycount is spread very unevenly.
You have 8 sided wheels that look very rough, yet you use so many poly's on small things like the cannon, mirrors or those details on the Kubel's hatch...

I think you're approaching these with a bit of the wrong mentality. You need to base your polygon distribution more on the silhouette. Considering these polygon counts are very low, you're probably only going to see them from far away, so there's no need at all for the varying depth of the wheels or the outlines of the windows or anything more than a 6-sided cylinder for the barrel - all that can be done in the texture. And you're missing all sorts of cool, flavoury details like jerry cans, spades, exhausts, pulling hooks and all other kinds of crap that hung on to vehicles.
You should try unwrapping your models before you texture them. With a low polygon count such as that, unwrapping it shouldn't take too long.
I should also point out that 2400 is actually a relatively high polycount for a 'low poly' model. I'd be much more interested in the vertex count or triangle number. Since the model isn't unwrapped, realistically it'd be double to 4800 polys since there'd be a seam around each one.

If they're all ngons, that's very high.
