This trailer wasn't supposed to hit until tomorrow but it apparently leaked out early. I couldn't find a higher quality version so please post one if you happen to run across it. Enjoy!
I wonder how many movie's it's gonna take before burton finally comes out of the closet and proposes to his johnjohn
I think that rabbit hole goes a little deeper. Considering Burton is legally maried to his default leading lady.
The longer all three work together, the chances one of them is going to turn up naked in a park, stabbed to death by oddly long scissors, keeps going up...
I'm with murdoc...it's trying so hard to be 'magical' and 'creative', and it just comes across as more-of-the-same-ol-burton-and-dep. And alice is too old.
Well, it looks cool but I'm really tired of Burton putting a new spin on existing stories with Depp always as his actor of choice. It'd be nice of you to mix things on a little, Burton!
With regards to Alice's age, this isn't a retelling of the original story. It's a sequel of sorts with Alice returning to Wonderland years after her first visit. Like American McGee's version with less crazy.
A big meh, you mention burton and alice in wonderland that is pretty much what popped in my head, maybe different colour choices, but meh.
Alice is too old too.
i can't help but think Holywood has probably run out of stories..
they're remaking most old movies.. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Terminator.. etc etc
if not, they remake Japanese movies.. i watched the original version of "The Ring" and it looked exactly the same as the American version.. i mean, come on! copying the exact events and the whole storyline?
i guess that's why i haven't been to the theaters for a while
Looks decent. Won't be seeing it in theaters most likely, I tend to avoid the "Burton crowd" whenever possible. I'm mostly excited to see Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts, I loved him in Willard.
Looks interesting, but should definitely be renamed "Return to Wonderland".
I'm pretty sure the marketing team thought that it would confuse the hell out of the general populace, especially the younger audience whom may have never read the original works to begin with.
There for they stuck with something a little safer.
In any case I don't care what it's called, I just can't wait to see it!

I wish this did remind me of American Mcgees Alice, then perhaps I'd be looking forward to it. I really don't like how Willy Wonk... I mean The MadHatter looks... At all.
As much as I like Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and Helena.... I'm fuckin bored to tears of this constant trio.
I saw it in 3D it looked good as 3D things do. But from that trailer why have they turned it into some epic battle unsurprisingly doesnt that miss the whole point of Alice in Wonderland.
Yea it looks like Alice fell through the Wardrobe and met up with a cat instead of a lion...
I'm still tossed up about this one. I'll probably won't be sure if I like it or not, even after I see it.

Criticism aside, I'll likely see this.

The new trailer reveals a little more of the world Tim Burton and crew has crafted. Enjoy!

i mean, one in which you don't need the art direction and production design to gloss over his chronic inability to make a film that just doesn't drag
... gimme that again, with examples?
Well they could always have a double feature :P

Does Nightmare Before Christmas count for this?
