I personally liked the "Sham WoW" guy. He seemed more of a better pitchman than Mayes. Mayes did have that distinctive voice and charm though.

Oh shiz, that's messed up. I loved their new show "Pitchmen".
Although infomercials are annoying, he's certainly an american TV icon at this point.

ericdigital - it sounds like it might have been the result of the airplane accident he was in. Plane blew a tire on landing and Billy smacked his head on the roof of the cabin. He probably was fine, but started getting brain swelling. Went to bed, never work up.
