This year I am starting again with human character and I want to stick to this. My idea is to make warrior with kind of two side hammer which ends are shaped on some predator animal (maybe lion) Thinking also about jet pack on his back. At the moment I am sculpting in higher res and some shapes probably will change. All comments and critics are welcome

i think the jet-pack would look slightly out of place, but we'll see what u have planned

you are right indian_boy,
jet pack can be out of place in this case. For me it's a chelange to fit fantasy, sci-fi and as you said tribal vibe. I am not sure if its good idea but I am going to carry on this experiment.

kinda reminds me of some sort of a storm trooper gladiator haha. cool concept. i think the staff handle should be a bit thicker though...looks like it would snap in half judging by the size of the ends of it.

I will work out at this. The staff is very rough idea and you are right, it definitely has to be thicker.

Latest update.
Now I have started play with high resolution model.
I dont like this very much it went to far from the concept. I have to try approach more to the main idea.

It's kind of fin to control fly directions. I may change this and will make it more visibly separate from boots.

the fins and the shoulder pad bits that stick out dont seem to fit the theme of the concept(the armor looks more organic now than the concept did), I also think he looks a little short

Unleashed - thanks for opinion, I made some changes so hope the armour doesnt looks to organic now and additionally I made him taller.

Now I have to design forearms shields than start to sculpt the mighty mace/hammer.

I wasnt able to do big amount of work for last couple of weeks but at last I managed to do little bits. Now I am under building the low poly mesh and the weapon, so next time I will show it. For now this is the latest work.
