The Bridge - Chief Tyrol as my dad?

It's a cop drama, he's the executive producer and it basically outlines his (controversial) career as a cop in Toronto and eventually becoming the head of the Police Union. The story, however, takes place in a fictional city called 'Metro'.
Aaron Douglas, some of you know him as Chief Tyrol from Battlestar Gallactica, plays the lead character Frank Leo who's entirely based on my dad. So, in gist, the Chief is playing my dad in a TV show and every time I think about that my nerd-boner moves a little.
Anyway, if you get a chance it'd be awesome to check it out when it airs. I'm not huge on cop dramas but thought, perhaps, some of you are.

Very cool to be connected to something like this. I hope it does well for him. Like you, I'm not big on police dramas, but definitely if it's not competing with lost, survivor, or heroes, I'll check it out

Also, maaaaan that was a fucking rough episode of BSG for him... had to be the most depressing episode of anything ever.

Regardless, congrats to your dad on the show. Will check it out when it airs. If it turns out to be as good as that other CBS show The Unit (nothing to do with nerd boners) I'll watch it.
