update: this is all just a color blockin. i decided to choose number 11, since 8 is so unoriginal :P. (due to symmetry).

If you're not sure I'm right, try to just looking at it with a black material applied (or set it to scene lighting without any lights, whatever).
it's funky, but not in the way you were going for.
edit: tri count shown isnt accurate, its about half that.
So your only going to be showing that corner of the court? If so, zoom out so we can see the whole mesh at this point

Yeah japhir, you shold take it up like pea said. Also, reduce the thickness of the calves and the neck.Players like the one you have here used to be thin and tall
I was trying to fit as much of them as possible so I pushed them towards the door more than they actually would be, just so you could tell its was a basketball court easier. But if its standing out too much, yea Ill put them in the proper place.
I threw the scale guy in there to help.

Yea the rules didn't specify about making it "playable" from what I saw, so I just wanted to focus on this one area. I think modeling the whole gym would've been redundant and a little boring to look at.

here's a new zombie wip. the shirt and jeans are very flat, gonna add folds/wrinkles in later.

The model looks like spandex but the texture reads as some really thin fabric that is blowing in the wind.
I'd suggest you to re-make the model so the legs are more cylinder-shaped.
For the texture you should take a look at this picture
As you can see, there's only wrinkles and folds around the crotch, knees and ankles.
I would like to see this finnished. Even if the time for the competition is over.
nah, couldn't finish because nate said he couldn't finish himself. i just kept on moving at the same pace though.
