Oh yeah, and i realize that the texture isn't square (256 x 256), but I thought that if this where an in-game head it would probably be on a larger texture sheet along with the rest of the model anyways

(and now you have perfectly square pixels).
I don't really know if he has hair or if it is some kind of helmet, that is for you guys to figure out

I say just scale up to 256x128, or change the canvas to 256x128 and keep the correct aspect ratio.

Gah. One of these days I'll start looking at / using reference and get away from this candy/cartoon look.... But not for little squeezed out turds like this.
*UPDATE: tweaked uv's and grabbed a tiny lit version, which is more how I think he'd be presented "in-game".
