Zbrush modeling as far as tiling

hey, anyone know of a way to work on a plane to build a tileable highpoly. kind of like in photoshop, basically taking the far right of the plane and when ur sculpting details on there your seeing it come onto the other side as you reach the edge of the other.

you can use wrap mode to tile your strokes. It is under the brush pallette. There is this tutorial that goes over it. http://www.zbrush.info/docs/index.php/Wrap_Mode_Tutorial

ok so heres another random question, say i apply a texture to a zbrush sculpt. im having problems seeing what i sculpted. is there anyway to tone down the texture kind of like lowering the transparency on it so u can see more of what the sculpt looks like under? i cant seem to figure it out unless i just go into photoshop and soften up the diffuse itself. i dont want to have to do that.. thanks in advance.

you can toggle the texture on and off using the texture palette - any texture can be applied to a sculpt.
if you're talking about polypainting, you can turn that off in the Texture tab of the Tool, just deactivate the "colorize" button.

ya thats true. i just want to get it so that you can have the diffuse on there but not have it 100%. like lowering the opacity on the diffuse.
