Looks pretty good for your first model. Just keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it and be able to make more complex stuff. But you definitely need to work on unwrapping (unwrapping the model in order to put textures on it), I don't think you've grasped the concept yet. How exactly did you go about texturing the train anyway?
Here's a link I found about Unwrapping and texturing. Never used the tutorial myself but it looks pretty solid. Good luck! and have fun!

Anyway, Remus, It's looking nice. Low poly is always fun. Maybe we could see your texture sheet? The only thing that pops out at me is that orange is too orange. But obviously this is still wip.
