Zbrush and overlapping uvs?

  yeah i don't think it deals too well with UVs stacked on top of each other.
  it should be ok to move any overlapping UVs exactly 1 full UV unit to the left/right/up/down just so they're out of the "baking range" but still map to the correct parts of the texture.

  Cool, I hadn't thought about that. I'm working off someone else's model and didn't really think I had the time to remap it. Thanks!

  You shouldn't have overlapping UV's but you can put your overlaped UVS into another texture space (not overlaped) and then move them back after createing your maps.
