Since it's announced i thought it could be cool to shamelessly plug the game we are working on here in Stockholm!

Its called Battlefield: Bad Company and is due for release 2007:ish

Im really psyched about this project, Im workin on the houses (togheter with cubik) and its really starting to shape up. As far as my first title i couldnt be happier heh

I just read the article and as a fan of the franchise I'm really excited. I'm with Rooster on wondering if the entire building is destructible or just selected portions?

Great attempt at realistic lighting. Environments look super. Weapons look really good too. Suptleties in the way of reflections and dust/haze in those screens are quite impressive. Cant wait to see some footage.

im not sure how much i can talk about the actual destruction but its on a pretty massive scale. Stuff blow up when you shot at it

If they can make an open ended game with destrucible buildings like that, sign me UP! Finally an FPS game where urban warfare is done just right! First person rag doll ideas sound awesome too, sounds like an awesome gritty game!

Destruction= fun in multiplayer.
Like worms.
Hours of fun with my friends. The only thing that got us was the turn based thing. ME and my friends like fast paced action for multiplayer, and destructive enviroments...
this could be perfect. Seriously. The idea of bombing a building actually blowing it apart is sweet.

What i've always missed from destructive environments is the fact that the ground doesn't deform. The buildings do, but when the same explosion happens on the ground, nothing changes. Just a plume of smoke. Well, I want to be able to hop from crater to crater, damnit!

It would change the entire gameplay every different round. If the artillery were to blow holes into the pavement and make it difficult for vehicles, or nice little pre-made foxholes, it would be simply amazing.

Craters from explosives aren't very big unless you're talking about plane bombs. Ground can absorb a LOT of force.

But why announce another BF already? 2142 isn't even out yet.
