Hexagon Character Modelling Tutorial

) video tutorial on the web. Hexagon seems to be a really nice modelling program. Ain't too expensive either

Anyways, the tutorial is really nice imo. The principles used can be applied to almost all 3d packages, i guess. I quite like the topology he used for his character.

I couldn't get into Hexagon myself. It's powerful and fairly cheap, however the "feel" was off for me.

But hey, I didn't like the feel of Modo either, so what do I know?

while we are on the subject of modellers, anyone knows what happened to "clay"? a while back it was the big mysterium and featured e.g. in martin krol's work.

woah thanks, their closed beta must be even more extensive than that of mirai 1.5. speaking of which, izware's website can't be resolved anymore from here...
