Something Wicked - Melanie Wicked [WIP]

A character from a project for school, that will eventually become a 30 second, or more, animation for the class, and if I decide to go through with it, a mini-web comic series. Melanie Wicked here is the daughter of a Zombie and a Wraith...she herself is a Shade.

Although I've managed to get all of her body done, the most vexing problem is giving her her characteristic grin...and maintaining facial animability. Basically the face has to be able to animate (in 3DMax) from the standard human size closed mouth position, to her almost 1/8th head encompassing demon grin.

Here are some images, the one with the grin is just for size-demonstration of the grin, and doesn't have any proper edgeloops for animating.

Looking for any suggestion as to what to change...and definately looking for suggestions on how to set up proper edgeloops for animating a face with an extreme amount of deformation (standard human closed mouth, to incredibly large grin).
