Hi guys just wandering if anyone could point me to some Games Companies in the UK. Preferably around the West Midlands area or Leeds...

used to be a real hub of developers round here ... now there's fuck all, and even less who aren't struggling. It's a crying shame.

Never worked in Leeds, but studied there for 3 years at the Metropolitan Uni, miss the place and the people. Probably going to pop by there at some point since I haven't been there since 1998.

Gremlin got taken over by Infrogrames, a load jumped ship and got snapped up by Rage to found the Sheffield studio. Stangely enough, the Sheffield studios for both Rage and Infrogrammes were closed in the same week. There were a lot of drunk devs in the Devonshire Cat that Friday...

From what I can tell, a lot of the Gremlin -> Rage people are now in Core or Circle, both in Derby

When Warthog UK shut their doors a while back, my buddy went to another studio, near Manchseter I believe. I can't remember the name of the studio though =\ *blank* games, something like that.
