For me it doesn't work at all, and I was as honest as possible. The result just isn't me, it is basicly almost the exact opposite.

You know shotgun, I agree on alot of things with you, but a test like that is not very good and precice. As if around 70 questions could dertermine your personality, and they are YES NO questions meaning the chain of thought has reached the end at this question but in many cases you can easly twist and turn the questions.
Most of these test are just egostrokes allthough this one has some negative parts to the ENFP people it is mainly still an egostroke.
A bit of truth, may be in it ...

nothing of it was new to me, although it was 99% true and i found that pretty impressive. at least my analysis (i didnt read others) was pretty intimic stuff, i felt. and so while it didnt reveal anything new i stil found it rather reassuring about some things i often doubted in myself (and you prsphilz0r know what im talking about

I'm fond of pointing out that other people are a mirror to our own personality. We can sit and try to guess who we are in the eyes of other for days and not make as much progress as we will in a single surprising sentence of reaction from a friend in reference to ourselves.
Well, only if you are the type of person who pays attention to other people, its the people who never pay attention to others that end up being unaware of their own issues and thus more often come across as an asshole.
I tend to be very self analysing, I've always thought too much, but I'd rather suffer the problems of doubt and paranoia than be one of the many loud self centered little bitches I've met that are utterly unaware of how big a dick they are without realising it.

Yes that is true, esspecially the visual aspect, but I was thinking about the "real" personality, because that is what theese kind of tests try to define.

yeah, I know what you mean, I also thought that was the root of you posting the test that is why I do think a bit of truth is in them, they can't be a 100% based on something fictional
The description of this personality type on the 2nd link does in fact seem quite accurate, but I wonder how accurate the other personality types would seem as well.
These things strike me as the same sort of thing as horoscopes. Broad generalizations that could apply to nearly anybody. Many are things people would like to think about themselves, and so they read them as being "accurate".
It was however, quite fun & an interesting read.

As a kid I always thought that there was something wrong with me, cause I wasn't terribly social, then as I got older I realized it is just part of who I am. I'm not a hermit or anything, but I like "alone time" where I can think, read, make art, and just generally be away from the endless jabbering of the social world. Too much of either personality type is a bad thing though. Theres nothing healthy about being a shut-in, but at the same time I've noticed that people who are excessivly social often seem to be doing it to avoid introspection, or out of some abuse derived need for attention. Anyway, blah blah blah...

no no, not bla bla, not surprisingly i guess as another infp - i had the same thoughts as a kid, and same realizations later in life. too much socializing and i get impatient, or too much shut-in time and i feel im wasting my time. and that is exactly described in the "infp manual" heheh
