"Make it simple" and "Easy to navigate" and now a quick and easy solution..

With Photoshop you can also generate a webpage with thumbnails with different layouts based on selected imaged or folders.

i didn't like picasa much when i had it installed. i was still cleaning out the "Picassa" files that the prgram generates when you tell it to view a folder over a year after i uninstalled the program (finally just did a search for Picassa and deleted them all

) it put one of those files in every single folder. have they removed that?

Yes it still creates them, but I only see them because I have hidden files turned off (I wanna see them). They don't bother me to be honest - its not as if they're getting in my way..

some folks here at mythic were using it and one of the it guys flipped out cause those.ini files were EVERYWHERE rather shoddy design of the program, at least have it auto delete the file when you are done viewing

in case you hadnt noticed, Windows creates a file in every folder which you view as thumbnails.....

KRakarth - you can turn that off, though. Thumbs.db is a very annoying file, to me.

so does paint shop pro... It's so that the next time you go there it wont have to read every file in the folder again to make the tumbs. (im sure you all already knew that tho)

If they were to just have 1 file that has every thumnail that you ever viewed - located in program files or whatever - then that file would become extremly large and would not have any idea that you actually deleted half those pics. Unless the program could do a full system scan to see what folders have been deleted, which would take some time to do as well.
