Help me find an old game....

Ok, i figured the polycounters are easily the best people to ask for this information.

I remember playing a game when i was teeny, waaay back in the day. However my memories of it are very very vague, but i was hoping that they would help someone else to remember the game and thus enlighten me.

From what i *think* i remember, you were a knight, who went around killing things and collecting coins of somesort (or something like that) As you collected more and more, you upgraded your armour from none, to bronze, to silver and finally gold. Better armour meant better firepower, and it was really hard to get gold armour. Also, whenever you were hit by a baddie, you lost x amount of the coins (if they were indeed coins) and so went down a level in armour.

Any ideas anyone? I also, ashamedly, cannot remember for sure what console it was on. Im thinking it may have been either pc, or amiga. But im really unsure.
