I was thinking of using The Last Guardian as the main base to work on. I'm leaning int that dystopian theme the game uses in it's environmental storytelling but I'm a little stuck if I want to go into that open world genre since that would be more compliant to the original game or if I should lean out of that and into the souls-like.
Most of all I aim for the environment to be able to tell a story visually, which is going to be the hardest part.

Slowly getting a blockout done so I can get a vibe for what I want it to look like! Trying to figure out how to make structures look imposing and massive has bee a little bit of a challenge but I'm really enjoying it.
Very small update! I changed up the towers quite a bit because the first one didn't feel right to me. I'm really liking this one though. I'm planning to add a bunch of detail to the towers this week since I feel I got a little behind.
I also have a couple props cooking up but they're for additional details to the scene once I feel like I like the main tower.
its happening at least on my end also so no worries really, just do what you can.
