    I very much remember this :) I thought it was really impressive given that it had a full-on animated character, a smooth 3D engine, and your instantly recognizable texturing style of course. What was the demo/game made with ?

    20 years later It's very cool to see that handpainting is finally making a visible comeback (beyond just WoW updates) with the likes of Arcane and, Valorant, and now Marvel Rivals.

    Lol, it was not that great, but fun at the time
    it was using Blitz 3d engine which was pretty cool., think it cost me £90 or similar.
    modelled and animated in 3ds max 2.5
    I did code a running demo, but then I got another guy on board, who did a nice job with the UI and the character animation code

    yeah wish I had carried on with handpainting stuff, might have come back in to fashion ( for me too) :)

    I do not enjoy that stuff any more though, heading more towards wildlife/environments of late

    Just remembering I had a dream last night, wherein I had to fix the profile page for an original member who had malformed html code in there from their old cottage pages. Whew, glad I woke up.

    @Eric Chadwick  - I dreamed I was being chased by a giant angry block of cheese, quite similar really :)

    @sacboi - I can't remember that much, but I came from Unreal Tournament forums originally
    I definitely remember the quake Skins era but was never really in that scene. Helped make 3 Unreal Mods, 2 of which were published
    Utron, Pearman and Lawdogs
