torn fabric topology - need advice

Hello again guys!

I have another question. I saw a lot of tutorials about how to sculpt this torn fabric but how to optimize it? Is that have to be baked into displacement and opacity map?

displacement is pretty much not a thing in games as far as i am aware. so this will likely be baked down to normalmaps and opacity masks for alpha cards

similar to this, just different textures and usecase
