I'm currently modeling a red valentine aglaonema plant. I sculpted, baked, and textured onto cards several variations of aglaonema leaves. My plan was to model out cylindrical stems and attach the leaves to the ends, but leaf cards are just too skinny, making me need to make the stems skinny as well so i don't just have a flat card awkwardly protruding into the cylindrical stem.
What's the best way to give the plant more definition? Hide it just spamming more leaves? Unlike tree branches or something I can't just duplicate/rotate the leaf to give the appearance of definition.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Whats the model for?
You can just model it all realistically if you need that sort of definition. Otherwise just put the leaf over the end of the stem if its not going to be viewed from 2cm away.
What about some overlapping geometry like so.. fitting the texture or vice versa:
Ah this is a great workaround, thanks!
