Hey! My latest project was my entry for the Flipped Normals Fairy Tales Challenge. I decided to make Red Riding Hood in a Film Noir/Sin City style. It was a lot of fun, even though I was a late to the contest, I kept her simple and finished in time
Picked up a sculpt from the beginning of the year and tried pushing it a bit further. I'm not sure where to go with the hair as I want to do stylised textures so I'll work that out as I go
I want to try messing about with an old character of mine and doing a full game res model.... so add these concepts to the pile of stuff that will never be finished :P
Ah! I remember seeing you posting some WIP of this dragon, on one of the tabs of this forum haha. The finished one looks great! Personally, I think the fire arround the head/neck area could have been a bit more subdued, as I think it ended up hiding some cool topology that you made arround that area.
I loved looking at your sketchbook. Very nice to see all your progress since 2018 :D!
Been messing with concepts some more and picked out a silhouette I liked and tried some colours. I think it still needs some better contrast so will keep playing with it
Just wrapped up this character. I wanted to practice blendshapes and dynamic wrinkles having not touched that sort of thing for a couple of years and got a bit carried away https://www.artstation.com/artwork/DvYlxR
Wrapped up my latest hair project with a full breakdown of the creation and wind implementation in Unreal! Check it out here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/n0e14o

Oh, thank you so much! I had such a fight with that fire trying to get it looking right :P
I actually just looked back at this sketchbook yesterday and realised how far I've come, makes me feel a lot better about when I'm having an off day

Messing about with some different hair styles
Back to messing with rendering
Finished up my latest project. Will hopefully give her a body at some point, but taking a break from it just now.
