Comments and Critiques are welcome! Always looking for improvement
A quick backstory, I always had an interest in 3D modelling, but only started to pick it up seriously around April 2021. I'm looking to get into the Video Game Industry as a Character Artist.

You can improve overall look if you tweak a few areas , torso been the one that really need help
There is something wrong with hair shader you can see back of his head
Thank you so much!
I been studying a bit more on the skull recently and now that I am looking back, I do see issues starting to pop up. Like I feel like the zygomatic arch should probably be a bit more visible, the frontal bone like a bit off and the temporalis muscles should be a bit more too.
Been trying my hands on more stylised character
Super cute!!!
Thank you! And seeing your sketchbook is just jaw-dropping how awesome your progress has been!
Heh this stylized work is super fun! Looks great!
lovely stuff!
Attempt to learn Marvelous Designer thread :
Subject: Wednesday (Netflix) School uniform
First Attempt - Sketch in Zbrush before importing into MD
Zbrush Sketch
MD Prep: Using Slice and polygroupIt (Zbrush Plugin) with ZRemesh then UV unwrap
MD
Second Attempt - Straight from MD
Compare to method one :
Spend a day using the traditional tailor method, but it took too long for the result. The result was also a bit off from the concept, and I think method one generally gives better results, such as the fit, but for pattern, method two looks cleaner and to me it looks more realistic
Haha its been a while and I have finished a project. I really need to start using this as a WIP and get more feedback 😅
Nevertheless, Heres my fan art for Stray
I have learned so much from doing this, it started out as just I wanted to make a simple environment with characters and it led to a whole scene with characters.
Everything here was created from scratch, and a lot of techniques was my first time using it, like vertex painting and using Substance Designer.
The starting idea was just to have the bartender but it was lacking with just him alone, so in the end I spend 3 days creating another one to accompany him.
Luckily when I was working on the bartender, I separated the robot and its clothes as 2 materials, so it was fairly easy to replace the clothes with another
Here are the breakdown and some more shots of it

Feedback:
Tweaked after feedback, making the face smaller, eyes bigger, soften nose bridge and softer neck detail makes the face look younger, previously I feel the character look around 18-23, but now it feels to be more around 13-16.
Side note: The hair lost its shape with too many secondary hairs
