I think the wooden handle looks really really great; I think the ax head is currently the weak point!
I recommend looking up photos of forged ax heads. You'll find many have a dark non-metallic flaky texture over the unsharpened parts. I think generally this texture is called scaling/scale, but could be wrong. There are lots of options for how it could look, but right now, the head is pretty boring compared to the handle. It's just shiny.
Anyway, I think adding something like this to your blade, and removing the blood (which currently feels more like lipstick painted onto the cutting edge), would go a long way towards making this piece really great. I think adding some wear to the leather could really help as well.
p.s. Also, minor nitpick, but your handle isn't wedged! Here's how it would look brand new; it's the main thing that keeps the ax head on the handle.

Thanks, I'll take it into account.
I will refine it
modified the model of the axe, how do you like it now?
Looking a lot better to me; maybe the blacks are falling a bit too black in some of the renders, but overall it feels a lot more believable to my eye~
