You'll have the option of cut-out or dither, use what looks best for your purposes.
Edit: I mean, opacity is another name for Alpha pretty much, so you know this for sure actually (since you asked a similar question but about hair a few months back)
If you're using a standalone black and white image for your alpha, make sure the channel is set to either R, G, or B, instead of A (which is attempting to find your transparency in the texture's alpha channel)

i tryed that but nothing is happening

i tryed switching my texture map in that slot in R,G,B,A channels and i still can't see the result
finally got it,
TBH honest i still dont know what i did to make it works. I just tweaked everything around.
