hi Important question about Maya
As you know, in 3D Max, it is possible to temporarily turn off operations such as mirrors, and it is easy to go back to before the operation, is this also possible in Maya?

Maya does not have a Stack.
Could you describe exactly what you try todo? Maybe there is an other way.
In some modeling tutorials that work with Max, this option allows the modeler to easily control the mistakes he made, but I have to go back by undo
Maya Artists just make a copy of the object or load an old file :D
Be aware of the increment save feature if you are using maya. Comes in handy, but it's not enabled by default.
How to activate?

Left click and drag to select text, then right click for context menu. Search web and now you learn anything.
All you have to do is recognize the keywords. You might strip it down to "increment save maya" for better search results.

Mirroring can be done easily by instancing and flipping half of the mesh (duplicate special, set to instance, with the relevant axis set to -1)
This won't merge the middle vertices, mind. But it does everything I've ever wanted a mirror to do, and can be easily toggled on or off.
For other tools, Maya does have history. It's not as flexible as the stack in Max, but it can be used to adjust certain things after the fact, so long as it's not too far back, behind geometry-dependent adjustments.
