Hey friends, I finished up a character recently and wanted to share it with everyone. Would love some critiques/feedback/tips on anything that may seem off, especially texturing and rendering - I feel like there were some times when the result felt sort of lacking (like the metal textures or the lighting for the renders).

I feel like he's compensating for something.
I like it. Wish there was more gradient and "direction" to the panels around the gun. Texturing feels too uniform given the bottoms would be closer to contact with the ground and soot from muzzle flash
I totally agree - ended up UV stacking all but one column of panels to save space and that definitely ended up limiting some things. There actually is some light dirt and soot on the panels but now that I look at it, I should had definitely aimed for a stronger and more noticeable gradient to make up for the lack of UV variety. Thank you!
Ehh, see what happens when you overexagerate the wear and tear. Easier to pull back then to inch towards the goal here.
