Cheytac Sniper M200

Hi Guys,
This will be an ongoing thread, I'm about to finish the high poly of the M200 sniper, I will upload the updates soon ( low poly, UV, baking, and Texturing ), but let's focus on the high poly now. I use Maya for basic shapes and Zbrush for the boolean operation. I need your critic before finishing the high poly!

I'm not sure what that wrap thing is around the front end of the scope that goes around the barrel too. typically shooters wouldn't do this. If it was for camo typically itd be around just the gun, scope or both separately as tying both components together would throw off the scope. Most high end scopes run in sub MOA (minutes of angle) which is basically the measurement between degrees. Once you creep past 1,000 meter shots the rotation of the earth becomes a factor in shooting along with many other variables so everything has to be...perfect.

It's good to learn from real shooters like you. Thank you for your advice, I will remove it and place it to the gun only.

I returned to the project with an intention to get it finished soon. We can call low poly DONE. Nearly 25K tris for a sniper is quite high but for Cheytac M200 is good I think. The next stage is UV!

If the extra geo is necessary, then all good.

Thank you @sacboi for your interest!, I started to assemble the sniper but unfortunately, the polycount jumped to 28k due to some screws and mirrored parts. UV and Baking are done!

Nearly 70% of the texturing is done! I updated my Ref images for more details and accuracy, I will share more progress in the next few days!
