Wierd artefacts in exported texture

Hey ,

I've been having this annoying artefacting issue every time I export my texture. Checked the normal of the mesh and there was no issues there. No artefacts appear in substance painter. Only when I export everything to blender the issue shows. How do u fix this?

the green channel in your normal map is the wrong way up - you can either export an inverted version from painter or i imagine blender has a tickybox for flipping it

it didnt work. I doubt it has something to do with the normal map. because even when the normal is removed it still looks the same

then it's your mesh normals

Also be sure you set non-color or linear for your dropped in normal map in Blender.

As of I know Blender has no checkbox to invert green but you can make your own group node for that, Split to rgb and then use 1- your green and save the group with startup file.

Also you can try to export triangulated mesh from SPainter. It sometimes fixes mesh issues.
