Crash of 3dsmax 2021 when opening old files from max 2017

Hi I was trying to open files from my old version of max in 2021 , but I can't as everytime it gives me error after it reach the conversion window, then crashes all ... is there any solution to fix this?

I tried to import with merge the files but still not working.

Can you send me a file? Do you know if it was using the edit poly modifier by chance?

yes it very probably had everal items with edit poly on , but the weord thing is that at the beginning shows dll problem loaded, and there was also a dll relative to cryengine lol ... dunno how that ended there.
