Material/Color picker?

Is an interactive color or material picking tool on the roadmap for the texturing suite? Unless it's already there, but I haven't seen it mentioned and there isn't a "tool" for it right now, so I thought I'd bring it up. It's been an issue in my testing of the new features, and I'm not certain I can really make good use of the texturing toolset without it.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, a color picker is something we would like to add in a future update.

I hope this update will follow soon, since this is an absolutely essential feature. Without a color picker, texturing - especially probably hand painted textures - does not make much sense at all. You need to be able to match colors of a concept quickly, and while painting pick colors from other areas of the model.

May as well just bump this old thread, the color picker now is great for anyone who's curious!

For those who might know: Is there a hotkey for the in-app color picker? Can't find a list of hotkeys/a place to change keybindings, and nothing I'd assume to work does. If it's not implemented, it'd be really handy for hand-painting.

With an applicable painting tool selected (brush, fill, etc) you can hit P to bring up the color picker. This will bring up the multip-map color picker that allows you to pick from all map types at once.

With the color picker window open you can also hold down ctrl to color pick from other apps.
