[WIP] [Character Art] Stylised bird design [OC]

Hi everyone,

I've been working on this OC little bird for ages (on and off) and think it's finally at a stage I would like to share it a bit more.
I'm very new to stylised creature design, it has been really challenging but very rewarding and fun so far!
I've had very little feedback too while designing but am open to any critique.
I'll keep posting as I progress

To me it looks like head and body lack the proper connection aka missing neck
