Hey, my name is Renan and i'm from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. I always loved 3D art and 2013 i decided to start studying this field, specially for characters. I finally took some courage to do a sketchbook to show some projects i've been doing these years.

I will be posting some old n new stuff here. Feel free to give me feedback, i'm always wanting to improve myself and evolve as an artist.

This is Viking, a Game Character i made as personal project based on Vladimir Mikhailov concept

Decided to go for a PBR stylized type of look heavly insipred in Overwatch, Fortnite and Clash Royale animations.

Made it on Zbrush, painted in substance painter and the help of baking lights and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag

@Torch thanks a lot. I really loved the idea that Vladminir gave of this contrast between strong character versus cute one. Really enjoyed doing both and thanks for the words.
@snorrow thanks a lot. Indeed this style is awesome and theres plenty of stuff that you can do in the textures to give an appealing look.

Your Brawlstars' character is really good! What you could have done is to overlap the symmetric UV of the whole body, that way you would save a lot of texture space (as the texture of both sides is already the same).

thanks for your comment. Actually i mirroed the whole body if i'm not mistaken BUT i left the whole face as single uv because thats the way they do in their characters ( due to probably face 2d animation ). I'm really glad you liked it.

For the clash of clans character i indeed wasted some space due to the skulls and i definitely could have saved by mirroring Uvs
